Mouse on Mars formed in 1993 when Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner (of Köln and Düsseldorf, respectively) met at a health food store.
Mouse On Mars’ sound links them to the club-music scene, as do their many remixes and collaborations with members of the dance and experimental music world.
Toma produced records for Moondog, Stereolab, The Fall, Junior Boys amongst others. Werner is also a member of Lithops, Microstoria, Noisemashinetapes, Dü and worked as the artistic director for STEIM. The electronic duo sound is like a post-Kraftwerk-age: ambient, kraut-rock, techno, lounge mixed to rock.

I Mouse on Mars si sono formati nel 1993 quando Andi Toma e Jan St. Werner (rispettivamente di Köln e Düsseldorf) si incontrarono in un negozio di cibi salutari.

Il sound dei Mouse on Mars li ricollega alla scena club, dati i loro molti remix e collaborazioni con personaggi appartenenti al mondo dance e sperimentale.
