JamScape, a ground-breaking audio installation by Jawbone and Yves Behar
In partnership with Dezeen and Elita festival
An audio experiment developed around the idea of liberating and unleashing sound using the new Jambox wireless speakers as building blocks.
Set within the emerging Ventura Lambrate design district, JamScape is an audio experiment developed in partnership with Yves Béhar and his creative agency fuseproject, Jawbone
and Dezeen around the idea of liberating and unleashing sound. Using Jawbone’s bold new JAMBOX wireless speakers as building blocks, JamScape will be an aural environment utilizing the product’s punchy audio to create a unique social experience.
With design by fuseproject, JAMBOX speakers by Jawbone, and audio curated by Dezeen, JamScape will be a convenient gathering spot where people can relax and enjoy an aural experience that is at once enveloping and freeing. Large-scale acoustic modules, built completely out of individual JAMBOXES, will fill the space with a lush and vivid audioscape.
The installation will foster creative partnerships with a cadre of audio artists and enable them to express their perceptions and ideas of music, improvisation, jamming, and social sound.
